Thanks to Dunlop the legendary Way Huge brand, created in 1992 by Jeorge Tripps, comes back to life. Way Huge Electronics is the result of meticulous and obsessive research into creating pedals with great tone, reliability, robustness, suitable for use on pedalboards and that had the magic of vintage pedals. In the space of a few years Tripps helped revolutionize what would later be known as the "boutique" effects market. Now in collaboration with Dunlop , Way Huge pedals are back available for the mass market.
Way Huge Supa-Puss
The Way Huge Supa-Puss Analog Delay™ was designed by delay master Jeorge Tripps to explore the full potential of true analog delay, with an “eternity” of delay time and precise control over the numerous parameters of your delay signal. Tripps equipped the Supa-Puss with six bucket-brigade chips, offering up to 900 milliseconds of delay time.
With the Tap Tempo button you can program up to three full seconds of delay time in real time for the most ethereal atmospheres. The Subdivision control allows you to set the subdivision of your repeats and by switching to the unique Chase mode you can set the repeats to cycle through each of the Subdivision values in different ways for amazing effects.
In addition to the standard Delay and Feedback controls, Tripps has included several controls for fine-tuning the sound of the repeats: Tone for shaping the color, Gain for adding grain, and Speed and Deep controls for adding liquid, shimmering textures via the Supa-Puss's LFO modulation circuit.
Additionally, for further tweaking Tripps has added a Mix control to set the desired blend between the wet and dry signal. Finally, the Supa-Puss has a jack to connect an external expression pedal to control the Supa-Puss’s Delay Time in real time.
