Combining a high-end preamp with an incredibly useful analogue-to-digital converter, this pedal is the new all-in-one bass solution, perfect for both live and studio use. Detailed controls including 4-band EQ, two independent distortions and wet/dry blend control give this pedal a huge amount of versatility, meaning it will instantly feel at home in any existing setup or pedalboard. Mammoth tone
True tube tone. The Markbass Vintage Pre doesn’t need to imitate. Thanks to the built-in 12ax7 tube amp, you get all the warmth and saturation you’d expect from a tube amp, only in pedal form. Don’t let the name fool you though, as this rich tone extends far beyond just vintage tube tones. Two independent distortions give you access to the entire gain spectrum, from a creamy, warm drive to grittier, crunchier top end. The built-in boost circuit gives you the ability to dial it up a notch when required, with +6dB of clean boost available on tap. Huge tones no matter the setting; versatility is one of the Vintage Pre’s many strengths.
Detailed checks
Speaking of highlights, the Vintage Pre’s detailed controls give you complete freedom to dial in a wide range of tones. The 4-band EQ is an ideal size that gives you expressive control; with the mid response split between two controls, you can carefully sculpt your tone and presence. The 3-way switch in the center of the pedal lets you set the tonal base : ‘Old’ gives you classic vintage tube tone with a scooped treble response, ‘Cut’ is a scooped mid setting, while ‘Flat’ is your standard flat frequency response. Finally, the ‘Blend’ knob lets you carefully tailor the balance of the dry signal and the wet signal, further expanding your tone arsenal.

The 'Balanced DI Out' is a true transformer DI box, optimised to deliver tonal purity across the frequency spectrum and eliminate the need for an external DI unit - you will quickly become every engineer's best friend. The RCA output and TOSLINK make this pedal the perfect studio tool. With a switchable sampling rate of 44.1/48/96KHz, you are always guaranteed professional quality audio, whether in the studio or on stage. The finishing touches are the 'Aux In' input and headphone output, which allow the pedal to be used silently, even in this case ideal for silent recording, or simply practicing.

The purchased goods will be delivered to the destination address specified by the customer at the time of purchase. Delivery will be made at street level (not to the floor). Shipping costs include handling and packaging charges as well as postal fees.

The shipping within Italy is FREE for orders with a minimum amount of €149. For international shipments, costs vary depending on the country and the total weight of the products.
