PaAS MK2 is a high-quality listening system designed specifically by KORG for the Pa5X Top Arranger Keyboard . Compact in size, made of aluminum, it is composed of 3 ways : high, medium, low, with 5 speakers and is capable of developing a power of approximately 30 + 60 W Stereo . PaAS MK2 connects to the arranger via the proprietary Easy Connection connection that does not require additional cables. Practical and light to carry, it can be used effectively to amplify Pa5X in medium-sized environments, or as a personal monitor on stage.

KORG PaAS MK2 Highlights

The efficient PaAS MK2 amplification system (optional) reproduces the sound of Pa5X in Hi-Fi class with high dynamics, it connects to the arranger without additional cables via the exclusive patented Easy Connect system. PaAS MK2 can also be used with previous Pa models, such as Pa4X, Pa3X or Pa3XLe (*).

*Speaker power depends on the model the system is connected to. Maximum power and the most dynamic sound can be achieved when PaAS MK2 is connected to one of the 3 Pa5X models.

Adapt settings to every operating situation

With the Pa5X you can select a different Waves MaxxAudio® Mastering Preset for the audio outputs and headphones, or the PaAS MK2 speaker system itself. Each of the Waves Presets contains settings for a full 7-band parametric EQ and the MaxxAudio® Suite . The settings can be different for each output, line output, or speaker system.

The PaAS MK2 is ideal for use as a standalone monitoring system on stage or at home. You can set the output level, EQ and MaxxAudio® values for the PaAS MK2, while the main outputs and headphones use a different Preset. This is ideal for adjusting the monitoring level separately from the stage PA system.

Parameter control and sound shaping

The 7-band parametric equalizer and other software tools in Waves MaxxAudio® allow you to correct the acoustic response of the Pa5X base on the environment in which the keyboard is used. In the same way, an equalization curve specifically calibrated for home listening or any other environment can be saved and automatically recalled. The PaAS MK2 is an incredibly versatile and efficient amplification system that interacts directly with the KORG Pa5X operating system.
