Su SL73 MK2 è stato adottato il keybed TP/110 Premium Hammer Action con aftertouch, una tastiera 73 tasti pesati dal consistente tocco pianistico che offre un'esperienza esecutiva vicina a quella di un pianoforte a coda acustico. la su meccanica simula con precisione l'azione dei martelli compresa la loro differrenza di peso tra le zone gravi ed acuta, con regolazione della sua risposta dinamica; in definitiva il partner ideale per il musicista che non vuole rinunciare al tocco pianistico dal vivo o in studio.
SL73 MK2 implementa l'interfaccia utente UX Logic basata sull'interazione tra comandi fisici con il display, in cui tutti i vari percorsi sono facilmente identificabili tramite un codice a colori che durante la selezione dei vari modi operativi illumina opportunamente i controlli, con il risultato di ottenere un'operatività logica ed immediata, di facile apprendimento ed uso da parte del musicista.
Il pannello di SL73 MK2 offre una serie di controlli fisici accuratamente selezionati come i 4 Encoder rotativi che comandano le relative zone di tastiera, a cui si affiancano altri 2 Encoder programmabili A/B, supportati da altrettanti pulsanti che controllano anche il trasporto DAW: Play/Stop/Rec/Cicle. La parte centrale è occupata dal display a colori retroilluminato e dai tasti di navigazione con una configurazione di Layout già usato con successo da Studiologic.

SL73 MK2 può funzionare anche come interfaccia audio di alta qualità; in pratica è possibile collegare il vostro computer o altro device direttamente alla porta USB-C integrata, usando le vostre App musicali preferite e collegando l'audio fornito dalla Master Keyboard direttamente ad un Mixer oppure a una cuffia, senza la necessità di dover usare per questo un altro dispositivo, ottimizzando in questo modo l'organizzazione del vostro set up.
