Il modulo DTX-PROX è dotato di una funzione 'Live Set' che consente di organizzare e impostare liberamente varie combinazioni di kit, tempi e file audio o basi musicali e richiamarli con un solo tocco, rendendolo particolarmente utile per dal vivo o per eventi in diretta streaming.
La funzione Bluetooth della DTX-PROX ti consente di connetterti in modalità wireless a dispositivi smart, lettori musicali portatili e computer e divertirti a suonare la batteria insieme all'audio. Inoltre, la memoria USB può essere utilizzata per registrare l'audio non solo da dispositivi collegati tramite Bluetooth, ma anche da dispositivi collegati tramite cavi Aux o USB.
Yamaha si rende conto che è incredibilmente importante che i batteristi possano sentirsi nitidamente, quindi il modulo DTX-PROX è dotato di un amplificatore per cuffie ad alta precisione, bassa distorsione, basso rumore e potenza elevata.
