Il finale di potenza 5881 del Royale offre la scelta di un funzionamento in Classe A (35W) o Classe AB (50W), oltre ad un volume principale per controllare il livello di pressione sonora. La modalità in Classe A offre il tradizionale suono Supro catodico con una gamma media audace e spugnosa. La classe AB offre un California-sound basato sulla griglia con una gamma media più scavata, bassi più stretti ed una risposta ai transienti più rapida.
