Le chitarre Yamaha TransAcoustic ricreano quell'esperienza incredibile senza bisogno di amplificazione o di effetti esterni, solamente con la chitarra. E' la più coinvolgente, stimolante chitarra acustica che tua abbia mai suonato. Un attuatore installato sulla superficie interna della parte posteriore della chitarra vibra in risposta alle vibrazioni delle corde. Le vibrazioni dell'attuatore vengono poi trasmesse al body, all'aria interna e intorno al corpo della chitarra, generando un riverbero ed una autentico chorus dall'interno di esso. Tre semplici manopole consentono di regolare il livello di effetto applicato ed il livello del volume. Inoltre, mantenendo i controlli di piccole dimensioni si riduce l'area dei fori nel materiale del corpo, riducendo la perdita di suono. Il corpo è interamente in legno massello, basato sulla serie L. Un bracing non smerlato modificato mantiene il caratteristico suono brillante della serie L, migliorando nel contempo la fascia bassa. Il trattamento del top con l'esclusivo processo A.R.E. Yamaha dà allo strumento un suono ricco, vintage, come se la chitarra fosse stata suonata per anni.
