I cambiamenti apportati si basano sul concetto di 'controllo seplice'. Nello specifico, la chitarra acustica amplificata AEG50 monta un nuovo preamp (Ibanez AEQ-TT), piccolo e semplice da usare con solo due manopole per il controllo: volume e shape. L'accordatore integrato è facile da usare grazie al display LCD. I dettagli come rosetta e binding sono stati curati finemente per dare alla chitarra un look stiloso.
