Focal Alpha TWIN EVO is a horizontal studio monitor with an attractive and modern design, with 2 6.5" Slatefiber woofers and a 1" inverted dome aluminium tweeter. Amplified with 100W (2x50W) on the low frequencies and 30W on the high frequencies for a max SPL of 108dB, they offer a frequency response from 38Hz to 22kHz.

In the amplified studio monitors of the Alpha EVO series, Focal has renewed the design, introduced new technologies and greater versatility, thanks to a 1/4” TRS jack input, which is added to the XLR and RCA connections. The Alpha EVO series by Focal Professional offers high performance at a price level in line with the needs of home and project studios, musicians and DJ producers. Alpha EVO: versatility and performance

Designed for music production and listening, the Focal Alpha EVO amplified monitors guarantee excellent sonic coherence for your setup. To optimize performance, Focal has chosen a 1” inverted dome aluminum tweeter to ensure excellent and wide diffusion of high frequencies inside the listening station and a special Slatefiber cone. The two 6.5" ( 16.5cm ) mid-bass woofers integrated into this Alpha TWIN EVO model are produced exclusively by Focal in the Saint-Etienne factory and stand out because they are made of recycled carbon fibre mixed with thermoplastic polymer. The compound gives the cones a particular and pleasant blue colour. The combination of these two materials results in very respectable acoustic performance in terms of transduction speed, rigidity and damping, which provide excellent dynamic performance and a more natural balance across the spectrum. Focal was the first company in the audio field in the world to use recycled carbon fibre in transducers.

The cabinet of the Focal Alpha TWIN EVO amplified studio speakers is made of 15mm thick MDF reinforced by an internal structure that makes them extremely robust, minimizing acoustic susceptibility even at high sound pressure levels. The dimensions of this model are 260x550x290mm and the weight of each speaker is 12.2KG. The bass-reflex ports each use a large front opening located under the respective woofers, for a laminar air flow aimed at containing turbulence and distortions on the reproduced signal. This translates into excellent integration into any listening setup, whether at home, in a van or in a treated environment. The attention that Focal usually pays to design has led to the addition of attractive sides made of plastic panels that blend perfectly with both the concept of acoustic performance and the aesthetic objective.
