CLEAR MG PROFESSIONAL is the high-fidelity open headphone for music production professionals, producers and sound engineers designed and manufactured in France by Focal . Thanks to their high-performance magnesium membrane , these recording studio headphones guarantee an excellent dynamic response combined with the ability to reproduce the smallest details across the entire audio spectrum. The honeycomb grids inside and outside the earcups allow for excellent spatial reproduction, very similar to listening on monitors.

Clear Mg Professional is an open circumaural headphone designed for music producers who require quality listening and a faithful and rapid transduction of the audio signal which in this model is carried out through an “M-shaped” inverted dome magnesium driver. Developed after 4 years of research and development by Focal engineers, this new concept membrane incorporates the main elements useful for creating a professional headphone such as lightness, rigidity and damping capacity. Sound characteristics typical of the world of HI-FI headphones - in which the St. Etienne brand has established itself since 2016 - combine with the comfort and precision required by mixing engineers.

Precision and dynamics in the Focal Clear MG Pro

Thanks to the new all-magnesium membrane combined with a 25mm diameter and 5.5mm height coil, the resulting sound experience is precise, rich in detail across the entire spectrum and respectful of tonal balance. The honeycomb grid located in the internal part of the pavilions extends the output on high frequencies and following the “M” profile of the cone allows to reduce refractions and negative effects. With an uncompromising extension up to 24kHz (maximum extension 28kHz), the response to transients and high frequencies will be extremely faithful and linear. The large mesh grid on the outside of the pavilions guarantees a wider sensation of spatiality compared to classic headphone listening, for a better representation of the sound field, very similar to listening from your studio monitors. The low impedance (55Ohm) allows you to use these open headphones even on the move, connected directly to computers.

Comfortable and with luxury finishes

In designing the Focal Clear Mg Professional headphones, meticulous attention was paid to aesthetics, modern but sober as required by professionals, and to comfort. The design of the constant curve arch allows for even distribution of the weight of the headphones across the entire head on which they rest with padding covered in perforated microfiber fabric. The external part of the arch is lined in black leather. The yoke that connects the arch to the earcups is made of sturdy aluminum covered in black scratch-resistant textured paint. The earcups rest delicately on the ears with 2cm thick memory foam padding covered in a layer of perforated microfiber. Included in the package is a convenient hard case (thermoformed) to transport your Focal Clear Mg Professional , two low resistance cables in pure OFC 24 AWG copper and replacement earcup padding.
