The first time you use it, you will find the Auto Level mode and phantom power already active: manage them as you wish in the ShurePlus MOTIV Desktop app.

Compared to traditional adapters on the market, Shure MVX2U stands out because it represents a real audio interface to connect your microphone to the computer , with functions and signal processors that can be managed, configured and recalled in the app for PC and Mac computers. The USB connection standard is USB 2, the female connector on the product is USB C type, as are the male connectors on the 1 meter cable supplied. You can connect the Shure MVX2U to normal USB ports in “A” format - the classic rectangular ones, to be clear - as long as they use the USB 2 standard or later: all you need is a simple USB C to USB A cable.

The free app available for Windows and MacOS computers (click here to download) unlocks the following features for any XLR microphone when using the MVX2U interface. With the Monitor Mix you control the mix between the input signal and the played signal, for perfect and balanced headphone monitoring base on your needs. Once you have selected the distance from the microphone (near or far), the Auto Level Mode automatically and in real time adjusts the gain level thanks to the integrated DSP. In “Auto” mode you will also find 3 equalization presets: Dark, Natural or Bright. In Manual Mode you have full control of your microphone output as you can configure all the DSP functions to your liking: gain, limiter, compressor, EQ and more. Of course, you can save your presets for quick access in the future. Plus, the ShurePlus MOTIV Desktop app keeps the interface firmware up to date, allowing access to future features and optimizations.
