This guitar is the first signature model from Myles Kennedy , guitarist and singer of Alter Bridge , also known for his solo work and with Slash and the Conspirators. Kennedy brings blues and jazz to his rock style, and his signature reflects that. This guitar is capable of going from classic twang sounds, ideal for "chicken pickin'", to modern rock sounds.

The PRS Myles Kennedy Signature features a Swamp Ash body , 22 -fret , 25.5" scale maple neck with a maple fingerboard and two PRS Narrowfield MK pickups . These pickups were carefully designed to offer the character of a hacksaw but with the sparkle of a single coil. The PRS Narrowfield provided the perfect starting point for this design, with their ability to produce full, single-coil sounds without the noise. The pickups are paired with a 5-way switching switch and a push/pull tone control that works to reduce the high frequencies of the bridge pickup.
