THE STORY
The MXR Sugar Drive pedal offers a wide range of clear, transparent overdrive tones, from subtle overdrive to tube-burning distortion. It's based on a rare overdrive pedal that has earned a legendary reputation among tone-seeking fanatics for its unique circuit design.
The key elements of this legendary circuit are the Drive control and something called a Voltage Doubler. First, the Drive control on this pedal doesn’t just increase the intensity of the overdrive pedal. It starts with your clean signal and then blends it with the overdrive effect as you increase it, replicating the smooth transition of an amp going from clean to dirty. The Voltage Doubler increases the overall headroom, which opens up the sound to its fullest.
Of course, we wanted to give this circuit the MXR touch. If you like true bypass, then you're in luck: this pedal uses it by default. The original circuit used buffered bypass, and for those who love that feature, simply press the Buffer switch on the side of the pedal to enable buffered bypass.
With a simple three-knob layout and a mini MXR enclosure, this is the overdrive to have on your pedalboard. It's versatile and space-saving, and unlike the original pedals it's based on, it won't cost you thousands.

Cash on Delivery

The purchased goods will be delivered to the destination address specified by the customer at the time of purchase. Delivery will be made at street level (not to the floor). Shipping costs include handling and packaging charges as well as postal fees.

The shipping within Italy is FREE for orders with a minimum amount of €149. For international shipments, costs vary depending on the country and the total weight of the products.
