Newly sampled for the YDP-S54, the CFX concert grand piano offers brilliant, powerful highs and resonant lows combined in a sound that reaches the furthest corners of any concert hall. The CFX was played by the winner of the prestigious International Chopin Competition in 2010 and has since become one of the greatest concert grands of our time. With 88 synthetic ivory and ebony keys, the Graded Hammer 3 (GH3) keyboard reproduces the touch of an acoustic piano, from the heavy touch in the lower register to the light touch in the upper octaves. The GH3 features a three-sensor configuration that accurately senses and interprets the behavior of the keyboard to provide the response and feel of a grand piano, allowing for repetition and authentic control. The Arius YDP-S54 offers useful features for times when playing the piano at high volumes is not an option. The Intelligent Acoustic Control (IAC) function automatically adjusts the sound to allow players to enjoy a balanced sound at any volume level. The Stereophonic Optimizer allows pianists to enjoy the same natural and spacious sound that can be heard when sitting in front of an acoustic piano, even when wearing headphones. When using this function, sounds sampled from acoustic pianos are perceived as if they were coming from the body of the instrument itself, not from the headphones, providing a comfortable and natural experience.
