Acoustic piano sound

It is based on two accurate Stereo Multi Samples: Classic Piano and Grand Piano in which important details have been introduced such as the Strings Resonance, that is the resonance that in the real instrument is manifested by pressing the Damper pedal. This increases the degree of realism and makes this instrument even more pleasant to play.

To reproduce the playing sensation as close as possible to that of an authentic acoustic piano, it is possible to recall four different dynamic-timbral levels via the keyboard dynamics; from the most delicate pianissimo to the most aggressive fortissimo, the instrument always responds realistically to your playing technique.

The RH3 (Real Weighted Hammer) keyboard superb tactile feel

The RH3 (Real Weighted Hammer) keyboard reproduces the same tactile sensation as the action of a real concert grand piano, including gradual weighting between the low and high regions of the keyboard itself. In addition, the response when playing repeated notes has been further improved, allowing even the fastest passages to be played without compromising the expressiveness and fluidity of the performance. The Key Touch Control function selects 3 different velocity curves, which adapt the instrument to your personal playing technique, making a wide range of expressive nuances possible.

Vintage Electric Piano Stamps

KORG has paid special attention to the creation of the electric piano sounds. The advanced sound generation system, in fact, in addition to faithfully reproducing the dynamic timbre variations typical of these instruments, also generates the typical characteristic noises caused by releasing the keys. Six timbre variations are available, which include the most typical sounds used in pop and soul music of the '60s and '70s.

30 High Quality Sounds

The LP-380 U has a total of 30 high-quality, expressive sounds; it is possible to layer two sounds simultaneously, and there is a Partner mode that divides the keyboard into two parts (left and right), allowing two players to use the same musical pitches on the keyboard, listening to the instrument from the two independent headphone outputs, ideal for lessons with a teacher. There are also 9 different temperaments, to perform the repertoire of ancient music in a way that is consistent with period instruments.

The effects

Each timbre can be processed by three effects: Brilliance which adjusts the overall brightness, Reverb which simulates the natural environment (reverberation), Chorus which adds modulation and spatiality.

High quality and dynamic amplification

The internal amplification system (2 x 22 Watts), provides the highest dynamic output in this product class, reproducing piano sounds with fidelity and richness of tone, returning all the dynamics of the real instrument, with deep bass and brilliant highs. The position of the two large diameter speakers (10 cm), inside the cabinet, adds a more natural depth and resonance to the sound; creating the sensation that the sound propagates from the entire instrument with a highly realistic sound image.

Elegant design

The LP-380 U fits into any environment and decor, with just 26 cm. of depth, thin enough to fit into any living space. The wooden key cover is flat on the top, which allows the instrument to blend elegantly into the environment when not being played. The key cover uses a special mechanism for progressive and safe closing. The union of elements such as the RH3 keyboard, the 3 pedals, the amplification system, guarantees as a whole the perfect reproduction of all the elements of a real concert piano.
