ART 912-A is a loudspeaker designed for stellar sonic performance and versatility in the most demanding audio applications. The combination of a 1.75" compression driver, a 12" woofer, a 2100 W 2-channel amplifier and a constant directivity True Resistive Waveguide produces a coherent 100° x 60° coverage across the entire listening area and distortion-free sound at sound pressure levels up to 130 dB SPL . The ART 912-A loudspeaker can be used as a stand-alone unit in a FOH system, as a satellite coupled with a subwoofer, as a stage monitor or as a suspended unit – always offering high performance and great reliability in a compact format. Designed to be the most flexible loudspeaker in its class, it also integrates multiple rigging points for fixed installation. Thanks to the RCF proprietary FiRPHASE and Bass Motion Control algorithms, perfectly calibrated for each model, the audience will enjoy absolute clarity in the reproduction of the voice and a deep and powerful low frequency response. The elegant cabinet uses a special composite polypropylene material, internally reinforced with an M-brace structure, which makes it easy to transport and safe to mount on stands, on the wall, in suspension or attached to rigging structures using the multiple integrated anchor points.

POWER THAT MOVES
The most powerful amplifier in its class. RCF’s advances in transducer design make them even louder and more powerful: the amplifiers follow this evolution. With a power of 2100 W, the 2-channel Class D amplifier of the ART 9 Series speakers is 50% more powerful than previous models and is able to handle extreme sound pressure levels, with an ultra-fast attack, a realistic transient response and very low heat dispersion. The ART 9 Series speakers are very energy efficient, so they do not need cooling fans: the amplifier is firmly attached to a solid aluminum heat exchanger on the rear panel of the cabinet, with no moving parts. Being physically fixed to the internal structure, the amplifier is firmly anchored to the cabinet. The input circuit is the result of a new low distortion design and is equipped with an advanced safety limiter that preserves the authentic character of the signal at any level. All ART 9 Series amplifiers are designed according to EN62368-1 standards to ensure maximum safety and feature a switching power supply section that combines high efficiency and minimum weight.
BASS MOTION CONTROL
RCF engineers have come up with a new solution to improve low-frequency performance, removing the high-pass filter and replacing it with a new approach. BMC (Bass Motion Control) is an innovative solution for managing the woofer excursion. Thanks to BMC, ART 9 Series speakers are able to handle the lowest audible frequencies without affecting the stability of the transducer, thus providing extended linearity and improved sonic integrity at all volume levels.
The BMC method works by creating a complete map of the woofer’s dynamic behavior to generate a customized algorithm that limits only over-excursions. This gives the transducer total freedom in signal reproduction. Normally, high-pass filters protect the woofer from potentially destructive movements, but change its phase behavior: the new BMC algorithm breaks this rule. Combined with FiRPHASE technology, the ART 9 Series offers a level of DSP audio performance never before achieved in this speaker category.
