EKO GUITARS MIA B400ce OVERVIEW

The MIA B400ce comes in Natural with a Gloss finish, with a Dreadnought cutaway shape, a feature that allows the bassist to easily reach the highest frets. The combination of solid Cedar on the top and Ovangkol on the sides and back, the result of careful research, gives this instrument a very broad and always well-balanced tonal spectrum on each individual string. A very important feature is the presence of a very high-performance amplification system, the Fishman Flex Blend: made up of a piezo and an internal condenser microphone, this system allows you to capture every nuance of the bass thanks to the possibility of gradually adding the signal taken from the microphone to the piezo signal, via a “blend” potentiometer. Among the controls, in addition to the Output Volume and the blend, there is a display tuner (activated by pressing the volume potentiometer) and an EQ control that works in “mid-scooped” mode: kept at a minimum the signal is not equalized (flat), increasing it gradually reduces the mid frequencies in favor of low and high frequencies. In case the bass should have feedback problems, a very common situation in the acoustic field, it is possible to invert the phase by pressing the EQ potentiometer. All these features together make the MIA B400ce a suitable instrument in professional contexts, both in the recording studio and on stage.
